This plan is designed for runners who are in a winter sport but want to maintain a running base and be prepared to have a great track season.
The plan includes 3 days of running/week that can be easily fit into the training athletes have for their primary winter sport. Each week includes easy days of running, strides, and specific workouts that build through the winter so athletes will be ready for track season.
Additionally, the plan includes plyometrics that can be helpful for athletes whose winter sport doesn’t involve as much running.
